@manuelmoreale concur … I think that the challenge comes when personal sites exist for different reasons and the opinion as to what constitutes a personal site comes from one perspective with one set of lenses and filters … whilst someone else has a different set.

Example, my own site is increasingly a living public journal … there are thousands of posts and even more replies.

I include search and categories for me .. so I can quickly find things

I include ‘hidden’ pages for similar reasons

A passing visitor would barely know.
