📺 Mythic Quest
I’m not a gamer, but it’s not really to do with games. It’s another sitcom based in the office. Not a bad way to while away some time.
📺 Sherwood
True Story - with artistic license. Couple of my favorite actors in it, which is why I gave it a shot. Turns out it also includes an actor called Adeel Akhtar .. who I didn’t spot at the time - but IMHO saved a movie I watched last night. (Link to come.)
📺 The Night Agent
It follows a formula (but what doesn’t these days?). For all of that though - enjoyed it - and set up for a second series by the looks of it. If you have seen the ‘young Jack Ryan’ shows and/or ‘The Recruit’ … you know what to expect.
📺 The Madame Blanc Mysteries
It’s one of those ‘little shows’. Lovely and gentle in itself. No deep mysteries - just one to gently unwind to. BONUS - the theme music has ear wormed itself into my brain - and is embedded. More on that here.
📺 The Consultant
It started off really well, but for my taste, wandered off into a nothingness that I didn’t care about. I will watch the next series, but more because I so much enjoy watching Walz than any recommendation of the series. Shame really.
📺 Breaking Bad
I know. I know - but I have only just finished it. I can’t believe it took me so long. For those who haven’t yet watched it. Give it a whirl.
📺 Cunk On Earth
Just so very, very good. I still have one reservation that I referenced after the first two episodes .. (read the thread) but that shouldn’t stop you watching it.
📺 Jack Irish
Guy Pearce has been playing this part for a few years now. Solid show, good cast. Definitely worth trying ot. They are all self contained - but why not go back and try out the first and let it all unfold.
📺 Mr Corman
Meh. I mean I didn’t stop watching it or anything - but I really did expect more from Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
📺 Mr Robot
I was scrolling through Reelgood spotted this and wanted to say great show. Then again I have always been a sucker for Christian Slater and of course this show introduced the world to Rami Malek. How could you go wrong?
