I’m feeling a clean up coming on me …

I think I just used my new Random (Surprise Me) Link more times in the last 10 minutes than it has ever been used in total.

OH. Now that’s a neat idea. (The ‘random’ button between the previous and next)

Filed in the bucket of ‘Things That Are Wrong With The World’ .. that moment that you discover that your translator has stolen $16 million from your bank account.

At the beginning of the year I had grand plans for this series. A daily long-form post about something that was rattling my brain that day. And then life. For a while, I was even just dropping markers - to revisit. I came to realise that part of the problem was the complexity of the structure for each post - so that went away. Simplicity really is rather nice. As I write on 240413, I am now going back and filling in the gaps. PLUS - unless something strikes me immediately, I will not classify until the end of the day and go back to move one of the posts of the day into the 366. Also - if you are wondering how I have update the words at the bottom of over 100 posts at a stroke, well - THANK YOU Andy Sylvester and his Glossary plugin.

The irony of a footer that tells you that you aren’t going to get one of this annoying little pop ups asking you to sign up - and not being aware that it is dutifully delivered over and over again through the RSS feed on each post - sometimes even without a post.

OOH OOH - here’s an idea - let’s take a movie from 25 years ago and turn it into an 8 part mini series.

Just a test from Obsidian.

Been a while - but just dropped into MB Admin and slaughtered another 25 or so categories.

One day - just one day - I will wake up and it will be a normal lovely day .. and will stay that way.

It was all going really well … and then it wasn’t. Handbrake turn, rubber scorching the road and now we have what I believe is a better name and a much improved URL ( and a dot com at that) … now all we have to do is start again.

Thinking it’s not wrong.

I wonder if ‘my beautiful wife’ is an employee, vendor or coworker.

Friend of mine mentioned ‘Cyclades’, a French project from ‘back in the day’.

You know, they were solving for problems that TCP/IP was trying to solve before there was TCP/IP.

🤯

I did just find this ‘billy-doo’.

We get so used to the narrative we are told. Don’t we?

Anyone explored 🔗 beeper.com ?

Is it in use anywhere - or is it just a giant wait list?

Watched first episode of 📽️ The Brothers Sun last night. I am worried - surely it can only get worse at this point?

Heard on a conference call

My son attends xxx University .. what a great school. Great school. It’s so clean you can eat off the floor.

… just struck me as an unexplored metric of quality in education.

Let’s call it an experiment

You see that building there - in the ‘middle’, second from right, 3rd from left … in the distance…

It’s that building here .. slightly different angle but more interesting buildings to frame it.

This is what it looks like when you are up, close and personal.

It’s a device that is really only any good to consume. You can’t really create.

… is a sentence I read in Vision Pro reviews.

I also read it in early iPhone reviews.

Reviewing the Vision Pro on an audio podcast with no irony what-so-ever.
