The only change to the image I would make is to put the rust bucket at the back … to extend your metaphor how many corporate drivers look back … they have declared their shiny new strategy and off they go .. without a clue that the organisation behind them is not what they think it is.

Because they are. Search for ‘Aphantasia’ is a very different request to asking about ‘Aphantasia’.
In the old world - we had dictionaries and encyclopaedias. In the new world - we have search and ask.
Siri pops out of the Dynamic Island with a prompt: “Search or Ask”. Why on Earth would these be two different options? I assume to replace Spotlight, but it’s 2026, the system should just be smart enough to do that initial routing for you.

The collective we that make software don’t seem to check these things anymore, and it shows. Try your software in the world sometime: borrow a friend’s old tablet, go to the library and use the computer there, and give yourself a deadline to finish your task and consequences if you fail. You might be surprised how many problems are made obvious by the experience.
