Definitely with him. One of the best books ever - coupled with one of the worst films - BUT - in the right hands … a remake would be awesome.
Never saw it - but I think this was the story’s second celluloid outing … I hated the third - so had no plans for the fourth … but the reviews are too good.
They’re all sewing away …. and I see Somner run through the scene and say, “Alright, you gotta get this dress ready! Here we go! Everybody ready and ACTION!”
And they all kept sewing at exactly the same pace they had been sewing and I couldn’t stop laughing.

I saw something this morning float by in the stream claiming that France has the ‘best restaurant in the world’. Quite apart from a personal objection to applying words like ‘best’ to something that is a qualitative opinion … I was reminded of this exchange from the movie.
