If you can’t afford to pay (or find) people to operate your checkout counters why not pay me? You could offer me a discount on my grocery bill as a small contribution to me wasting my time learning the arcane nuances of your very specific self-serve checkout UI.
Remember ‘The Grid’? I even sent them money at one point in the long last past. Forgotten all about them. Discovered again as I cull bookmarks. Oh well. Breath not held.
I see @escribitionist is using TVTIME - @pratik - have you explored that one? I recently started up with Reelgood - but a little frustrating - and don’t want to pay for Tract. Maybe TV Time is better? Welcome both of your thoughts.

I still need to check them out and work out what they are doing - but I learned about their names from a relatively famous HR consultant / analyst who referenced them as an example of ‘the power of AI in HR’.
