Truth … reminds me of my old days in large corporate change management initiatives … we used to call it the ‘permafrost layer’.
Apparently :
”The current effort to retrain American workers, labor authorities agree, is small compared with the needs, particularly in recent years as computerized machines have evolved, bringing to the workplace perhaps the greatest change since the Industrial Revolution in the 1820’s.
Except that was written in 1983
And yet still the world seems to be surprised how jobs are being taken by automation of one kind or another.

World’s Loneliest Tree – New Zealand
’The introduced spruce is considered the most isolated tree in the world, after the former record-holder, the Tree of Ténéré in the Sahara Desert, was mowed down by a drunk driver.

The iPad, HomePod, and Apple TV need multi-user support.

The one surprise of the article? That it took an entire article to say what could be said in a sentence.
I have TOTALLY forgotten how to add text snippets to the ios special keyboard … which means that is not intuitive. I did log a request a while back that you should simply be able to create a folder that you move shortcuts into for them to appear. Maybe they are working on it?

Great graphic on the click through.
I have told Doc about Micro Blog - but still he is not here … but he does have a 1999 presence ( thanks to his good buddy @dave ) which he touches occasionally like this one … and this is one of the things I still think we would benefit from in micro.blog - just not sure how easy it is …. or if I am on some wacky backy.
What Doc seems to have done here is write a post in 1999 - and then published it - and it flowed into the RSS stream. THEN he updated the post and the RSS updated. And then he did it again … and it updated again.
Or am I nuts?
Maybe @brentsimmons has an idea since I think outside of Dave, he understands this world better than all.
any other blot people I am missing from the micro blog [blot community] - looks like we have a total of 22 people and 24 sites - although not all of those are linked - let me know if you want to add yours.
