I think my question is broader and akin to the thought that if you listen to a book read to you on audible - have you ‘read’ that book?
In this case - people talk about how you shouldn’t record meetings without their express permission. The actual definition of ‘recording’ does in fact include a ‘written’ record. So yes you shouldn’t transcribe without their permission - but if i take hand notes - and write down what was said in the moment - that is ok?
