@SimonWoods concurrence - said it before - saying it again - the indie web will never become a place for 95% of the world until it is made easy and nobody seems interested in doing that.
I recall a similar story around Doc Searls whose blog had been hosted by Berkman Klein and it was going away and it all had to find a new home. His buddy @dave and the good folks at Wordpress sorted it all out for him and a relatively seamless transition - but totally non scalable.
I am sure there is someone here in Microblog that could help @ajay with this move ❓
@numericcitizen not yet, but am sure it will makes sense once we get to push buttons on my own docs .. thank you.
@numericcitizen .. of all peeps that I know, you are likely the closest to being able to answer this thought,
Craft 3 - potential twist in the use cases
Can I have a table of structured data that I can then call out specific cells to dynamically populate a document ..
Example …
“There are 23 people that’s have read this document”
Is a sentence in a document and ‘23’ is pulled from the structured data.
A week later, I see 35 people have read the document … I update the table - and the paragraph above is dynamically modified.
Possible?
Preview … another Mac bennie… built in and included.
a week later it’s moved up to the 4th largest .. barely a flutter in the news
