I think my question is broader and akin to the thought that if you listen to a book read to you on audible - have you ā€˜read’ that book?

In this case - people talk about how you shouldn’t record meetings without their express permission. The actual definition of ā€˜recording’ does in fact include a ā€˜written’ record. So yes you shouldn’t transcribe without their permission - but if i take hand notes - and write down what was said in the moment - that is ok?

@Moondeer I’m not sure he is saying that - or if he is - it isn’t what he thought he was sating.

@Munish using a tool - but if I had a stenographer sit in with me the end result would be the same. Confidential .. yes, but the notes are just for me to make sure I haven’t missed anything and can easily cover off the actions.

@helge it’s a thing - as in outlasted T2 - but not sure it has yet moved into ā€˜real thing’ status.
