Stacked Menu with Dropdown

I said I'd be back .. and I am. Though the post grew in length and turned into a bit of a prediction. 🖇️ What do you all think?

A flavor or two extracted from the post - and kinda reveals how it expanded beyond the original 'remit'.

Despite Tay Tay’s global appeal, it won’t be her.

U2 - deeply intertwined with Apple ...

besides, he is deep into his next Trilogy ...

@cliffordbeshers yes - it fits - and is - it’s the term I didn’t know - and the fact there is a term suggests that it is also a 'thing'!

@pratik good job sir. Tempted - but having just totally stripped down my menu by working out how to add a drop down, I will resist for now.

Next weekend you might want to consider adding a rollover to the icons, so a visitor can grok whats through the click through without clicking - e.g. 'Macro' = 'Titled Posts / Long Form? I assume NOT a link to clever excel macros written by your good self? 😂

Second choice is to ignore me - you wont be the first.

@ChrisJWilson Thanks Chris - it is the automatic bit I was looking for. The shopping bit is cool - particularly for a long single store list ro avoid wandering aimlessly round the aisles covering acres of land in an hour.

This is what I really wanted to show the other day when i was talking about all the little (and not so little) boats bobbing in the bay at night.

Somewhere else in here there was a long thread about how getting engagement on Micro Blog was waaaaay harder than on the Social Platforms. Take this one for example - this is the first comment on this post - and it is me!

When I posted this same link into a small private group I am part of the resultant conversation was one of the longer ones - and as often happens, not always about the topic in hand. This a group that doesn’t even talk about systems.

Then today I saw this over on BlueSky.

Pretty sure Anil would never have seen the comment over here - and of course - even if he did, he wouldn’t be able to just send a like 😳 .. and all that is ok IMHO

We have to separate out The 'Source' from the 'Distribution' .. MicroBlog is superb for offering me a wonderful place to store everything and be my source. It also does a great job in also allowing me to distribute my stuff to any and all places (within reason) thatI might want to use as 'distribution'.

They are different. We shouldn’t forget that.

@devilgate I think his main claim to fame is as a script writer for Doctor Who .. though not these days .. but a lot more besides .. like a book on The Beiderbecke Affair .. superb TV show with James Bolan in the eighties. I quite like his YouTube channel that sits at the intersection of ‘writers and apple’ … informative, personal and with humour. This from his blog.
