@d0gc0w HOLY CRAP - you are here - it has been YEARS. How the hell are you? Such a delight to see your name pop into my stream. We need a serious catchup.

@jsonbecker i commented on this somewhere else - but I bookmarked it at when i first read it - did what I was going to do and now releasing the bookmark - but before I do ... 💯

@jessekelber with you. So right it formed the basis of the opening of my last newsletter - that has been sporadic at best ...

It has been a while, and it got me to thinking that I needed to write another newsletter. I logged on and discovered that I have clearly felt this way 14 times just ‘recently’ - assuming that each time I feel that, I log on to Substack and start a draft. I didn’t start another one. Instead I popped over to my ‘ideas’ app of choice and unearthed a note I had written recently about a podcast from the mighty Douglass Rushkoff.

@odd i actually have NO idea and insufficient interest to even look it up - I am more interested in the phrasing. I cropped out the rest of the picture because the context wasn’t important. What does a 'guess' do - for anybody? And are guesses allowed for the bonus question?

@larand umm if we literally did that - I mean every single one of them .. the ‘House’ will be empty.

@odd

🔗 POLITICO on the topic in May last year.

Elected Labour leader in 2020, after Corbyn was routed in the 2019 election on a pro-second referendum platform, Starmer has since come to accept Britain's exit from the EU and has repeatedly ruled out reversing Brexit as he tries to peel off Tory support.

Long list. Yes. But not long enough.

@pratik it would seem that /now … not /doing is the canonical … noted

But no /why .. which I believe is an important one and have in place.
