30 years ago. Seriously? It feels just like yesterday. Of course … it could have been. The script is timeless.

It was on Netflix … and just wanted ‘something’. Turns out it was just what I needed. The storyline is recognizable .. with wine and barbecue this time. For all of that - well done.
Trust me, I don’t need to spend time reviewing a bad film … so I don’t.

It took me forever to get around to watching this film and when I finally did … oh my. Tears (mine) at the end - which to me is always a good guide to the quality.

I’m a sucker for the Batman franchise interpretation anyway…but they don’t always work. This ‘side story’ is a stunning film.
My Lettrboxd import worked, so cleaning up ‘film’ category and adding a collection of ‘🎥’.
That said … Category Film is not QUITE the same if you ‘find’ 🎥

For a 99 cent rental I wasn’t expecting much - but heh - Harvey Keitel - right? Well worth it. In fact at $9.99, would have been worth it.

Not as good as the 2017 Hitman’s Bodyguard - but definitely well worth a watch.

Marvelous - hadn't even heard of it till I watched it - highly recommended. Just do not understand why the stories have never been turned into a film series. Hopefully '2' will be forthcoming in that not too distant future.
