If GM goes through with this abandonment of CarPlay, I don’t see how they’ll continue to sell any vehicles to rental agencies. I would never rent a car without CarPlay, and I would never consider signing up for a GM cloud service just to drive a rental car. Complete dealbreakers.

My wiki is based on the Forty template with extended CSS and functionality like 🔗 this page all built in collaboration with Claude.
Looking to now add an image gallery
Have I taken away a programmers job? No - without Claude I just wouldn’t have done it.
Next job moving a raft of material out of various archives and folders into the Obsidian vault.

The logo in my email signature in 🍎📧 just stopped rendering earlier this week. Took until today to work out what was wrong - noting that I hadn’t changed anything.
As of this morning … fixed - though no idea why it stopped working to begin with.

🔗 Safari 26 Bug Turns Routine Browsing into a Memory Nightmare
.. I have been suffering from this - and I THINK this is the problem.
I originally THOUGHT I had narrowed it down to TextExpander since every time I closed TextExpander the problem seemed to right itself. Escalated to TextExpander - who told me how to do a clean install - which I did - but it didn’t fix the problem - because of course Text Expander isn’t an Electron app.
Props and big kudos to ‘Christa’ at Text Expander for the response time and help. 🙏🏼
Later: TURNS OUT NEVER WAS A TEXTEXPANDER ISSUE - all coincidence.
This morning I gave Claude a list of all my Mac apps - and it tells me that these are the electron ones …

So I think ChatGPT and Slack are my likely biggest culprits.
