🎶🎵 Today I learned that Zane Lowe is in New Zealand and opened for Groove Armada at their Auckland gig on Saturday
I really need to pay more attention … AHEAD of time.
🎶🎵 The Sound Track Of My Life is another old post that popped up over the weekend when i was searching for other stuff.
It was meant to be a ‘living post’. It clearly died.
I merged it with other things I am writing in Obsidian.
One day it might make it back into the wild.
🎶🎵 7 years ago I was listening to The Loop, which is probably why I wrote A Letter To Jim Dalrymple and Merlin Mann. They were clearly chatting about music and I obviously took issue.

I really like Edging … BUT .. I take issue with the label ‘progressive’.
Yes - I think they have progressed from some of their earlier work - but no - it is not ‘Progressive’ .. am I getting pedantic in my old age?

A different kind of musical note … check out the work of Vivian Stanshall and the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band - Viv provided ‘MC’ services for all those lines you referenced, including;
“Spanish Guitar and introducing acoustic guitar”
The Bonzo’s track Death Cab For Cutie also gave that band their name.

🎶🎵 As a 60s ‘pop song’, 🔗 Simon Dupree and the Big Sound’s Kites has always had a place in my heart.
As a progressive band, 🔗 Gentle Giant sits in my personal pantheon of musical influence.
Just discovered today that the latter were essentially the same band as the former. 🤯
