👁️ Sitting in Aotearoa, working at different times (literally) with people in Europe, the USA, the UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore it’s become clear to me that just as ‘the sun never set on ‘the empire’ and thus it is ‘always cocktail hour somewhere’ - so too on any given day we’re having a holiday.

The iPhone was up against a set of new product launches but still managed to grow while the market declined. It’s a remarkable story. Apple guided to similar growth for the June quarter as for the March quarter. Signals are coming in that this is not a fluke.

RSS is definitely not dead.
Death, Mortality - you know - that sort of stuff.
But you get older.
The horizons get closer and closer as the years go by.
You live long enough, you start to lose people, friends, family.
You lose connections. Your eyesight goes and your hearing.
You hurt. Goddamn, how you hurt after a while.
The world speeds up and you slow down,
things change, complexity increases,
it gets harder and harder to keep up until you just can’t any more.
You become more and more distanced from the world.

With macOS Tahoe, you do know that the chief new thing is the Liquid Glass redesign. It seems as if there are more critics of the design than there are proponents, but it’s probably more that most users don’t care enough to comment.

Put me in that last category - and where a lot of the critics should also be.
I definitely understand the issues that ‘the pros’ have - and interesting reads - but most of the 👎🏼 I read are just piling on and would do better to going back analysing Iran or Covid Data.
🎬 First there was 🔗 The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent - so so good.
🎬 Then there was 🔗 Jay Kelly - which was alright - but in proportion to what I expected.
🎬 So I approached 🔗 Outcome with high anticipation.
I have now started and stopped it three times - best was getting through 25 minutes. Should I give up? I mean this is Keanu we are talking about.

"iFiesta Fatal! (Album Edit)" by B-Tribe
I was on a work trip in Finland. My hosts decided to expose me to some Helsinki night life. I can still picture it all - but sadly no pictures to share. At one point we were in a bar/restaurant/nightclub - which it was dependant on the time of day - and this music like no other swept through the whole place and I just disappeared into it.
This was the track. Got back to the UK - bought the album - and it turns also out their second - clearly wasn't in the vanguard on this one. I also bought 3, 4 and 5 as they came out - they never failied to suck me in.
There is a sixth - do not own it - but of course in my online library - though a little different to its predecessors.
And all of this came to mind yesterday as I was wrestling with 🖇️ my blog issues - to pick one random post that didnt arrive until today.
BUT - iFiesta Fatal! kept me sane.
