US economy added more jobs than forecast last month, with March and April’s data revised higher too, but unemployment rate has jumped to 3.7%
- still nothing about what kind of jobs … minimum wage jobs should not count
- adding jobs is one thing, but actually employing someone is different
- unemployment up AND jobs up indicates a need for more training
We continue to measure and count the wrong things.

I used to love the Asterix comic books. But have never really enjoyed the films. So not sure why I thought this time it would be different.

Personal story; I needed to go see a doctor here in California for a routine check up. Last three years of history is actually in New Zealand.
Please have your doctors in New Zealand fax all your records to this number.
Fax? Much easier to send in email.
According to the assistant - no that isnt acceptable, because email is ‘known to not be secure’.
I don’t disagree - but asked her how secure she felt Faxing was?
