What You Remember Isn't Always What Happened.
Some context to this post, because it really isn’t just about memory (that’s the back story). It is really setting the scene for what I think will be a series of posts that I will link to from here that is exploring whether Geoffrey Moore’s chasm thinking can be applied to a country. Still not sure it can - but we will see as the journey unfolds.
Day 24: retain
My memory is clearly failing on the ‘retain’ front … it was only seeing @pimoore’s entry for ‘yesterday (time zones - what you going to do?) that made me realize I hadn’t done today’s!
I was given Good Pop, Bad Pop by Jarvis Cocker 📚for my birthday - which was months ago. I can finally start it, now that Strike is struck off.

‘FINALLY’ … It might seem like one book - in fact it is bound like one - but when you hit quad pages - someone should call an editor.
Is it me or has google docs just added craft like functionality?

Day 23: update
The timing of the daily challenge update has been a lot better after the time zone changes were accounted for. Thankyou.
I’ve just ‘finished’ - a VERY loose term … the new home page for Philpin.com. It is an attempt to bring together all the various threads of my online presence into a single gateway.
It’s not all there yet. But - will it ever be?
I’ve referenced Rachel Maddow’s podcast ‘Ultra’ a couple of times recently … just finished the last episode.
If history repeats itself - we (the ‘United’ States that is) are doomed.

… familiarity with command line tools constitute intermediate technical skills?
Want to know how the USA ended up with turkey pot pies and ’TV Dinners’ … it’s not a dissimilar story to how Cheese became such a US staple.

Day 22: graze
Auckland is home to 1.6 million people (1/3 of the population of New Zealand) and provides specific help on where livestock can graze within the city boundaries.
My ‘Drafts’ inbox is down to 6 … which is great … BUT … my Obsidian Inbox now needs a LOT of love!
Gawd knows when or who it was but somebody reminded me that I used to keep lists of things and stuff that surround Micro Blog.

Day 21: ice
The English in me says that two cubes of ice is sufficient to add to any drink, but my U.S.A. residency tells me that only once a glass is full of ice do you even consider adding the beverage you intend to enjoy.
Why Don't We All Have Agents
I got a voice mail from my agent this evening. She opened with her usual apologies for being out of touch but she wanted to talk to me about four contracts that were coming to a head. Details needed to be nailed down.
Four contracts? I knew about the transformation contract, but as for the other three … I had no idea what she was talking about. What else had she found?
Color me intrigued.
Of course I called her back and she dived in head first, at her usual ra ta tat tat machine gun conversational speed … and I listened - I mean what was my choice!
.. and to find out what happened then … well we have a podcast for that … a short one mind you … 6 minutes and 41 seconds.
