A Bug? Security Questions? At Instagram?
How can this be?
I have noticed that a few of the people I know in the digital world have become ‘founding members’ of The Correspondent including myself. Meanwhile others wonder about it … so sharing this from and by Correspondent adviser Jay Rosen for the full ‘411’.
I wrote this article in June of this year, about a young man called Riley who survived the Sonoma fires a year ago.
The article has just been published on BizCatalyst. Timely in light of what is going on now just 100 miles away.
Last year the Sonoma fires were categorized amongst the most deadly, destructive and extensive fires in the history of California.
A year later those records are already absolutely shattered.
We now have a fire still raging (60% contained as I write) that has already;
-
claimed nearly 4 times as many lives as Tubbs
-
destroyed 2 1/2 times as many structures
-
has a missing persons list of 1,276.
