In New Zealand we hear a lot about how expensive things are. According to this index … ‘not so fast’ - because the New Zealand rating is less than half of New York - ground zero for this exercise.

Then again the average wage in NYC is twice the average Kiwi wage - so it all balances out.

But surely, its not income we should be thinking - it’s disposable income.

Once again - maybe we are measuring the wrong things really well ❓

🔗 Process thinking

Sure, you made it work this time, but will it work next time?

For me … yes.

Can you teach the method to someone else?

If they want learn - which should be the question.

Do you have a protocol for what to do when it doesn’t work?

I do not. Fair cop.

How can someone else contribute to your process to make it better?

Tell me. Ask questions. Point out logic flaws. It’s iterations - all the way down.

A Youngs Pub? In Bristol? Life in Blighty has clearly improved since I left, because when I was a lad - finding a Youngs pub outside of Wandsworth was generally classed as a ‘bit of a find’.

Then again, when I was a lad I couldn’t pop over to their web site and look up things like this …
