Never thought about it this way before, a fascinating read. (Personally the last printer I owned was more than 5 years ago.)
🎵 Fascinating short on the making of 10CCs ‘I’m Not In Love’. Creme and Godley were massive innovators of music and video in their day … and to my mind, too often ignored today. This gives lovely detail into the making of a massive song. Enjoy.

A review of Ulysses from Apple Insider provides some interesting insights. Been using the product myself for a month now … and have been mixed about it … this seems to put the finger on why I am in two minds.

I saw something this morning float by in the stream claiming that France has the ‘best restaurant in the world’. Quite apart from a personal objection to applying words like ‘best’ to something that is a qualitative opinion … I was reminded of this exchange from the movie.

Just ran through one of my IFTTT accounts and purged 80% of the triggers. Half of them were just parked and inactive. Amazing how a couple of years ago IFTTT was needed to do some things that today are either unnecessary or just bundled in the new versions of the apps.

I had two of his books a long time ago. Long gone / misplaced / lost. But, if you are interested in the music of the 60s and 70s, the books and trees inside contain a veritable cornucopia of visual information relating to the music of the day.
I have often thought that it would be interesting to see something similar done for the software industry - again starting in those heady days and how companies were gobbled up, grew, where the founders went to etc … I think the results would be fascinating.
