@artkavanagh truthy .. I am generally on top of these things but it took Jax last night to tell me .. she knows of Tull only because of me .. but can barely recall Ian Anderson’s name … so when she said ‘Jethro Tull’s’ guitarist .. my mind immediately jumped to Martin Barre .. but no .. very much alive and kicking .. so put it down to mistaken identity. Then this morning I thought wait … sad indeed .. but as someone once said (I paraphrase) what is life if not the inevitability of death.
