I wrote this article in June of this year, about a young man called Riley who survived the Sonoma fires a year ago.

The article has just been published on BizCatalyst. Timely in light of what is going on now just 100 miles away.

Last year the Sonoma fires were categorized amongst the most deadly, destructive and extensive fires in the history of California.

A year later those records are already absolutely shattered.

We now have a fire still raging (60% contained as I write) that has already;

  • claimed nearly 4 times as many lives as Tubbs

  • destroyed 2 ½ times as many structures

  • has a missing persons list of 1,276.
