📸 🌊 Part of the point of this series is to record a daily ‘ever changing mood’ (queue song?) of the weather from a consistent angle. On occasions I might post as many as 4 from a single day. I saw this and had to move fast before it disappeared.
I went back inside, turned around, I kid you not ONE MINUTE LATER.
📸 🌊 Tops and Tails … this one is the first of the day.
A little bit later the sun starts to break through
Then at the end of the day, all the boats that are here for the long weekend looked quite pretty IRL …
But it took another half hour for it to get dark enough for this old iPhone to pick up the boat lights.
📸 🌊 After 🖇️ yesterdays weather - this was rather welcome particularly since it was so bad that it knocked the power out. Bed by 7 for this bear.
But … the next morning - what do they say ‘calm after the storm’?
Or is it before?

📸 🌊 A different approach today. Caught this one at just gone 7am.
And then over the space of the next hour …
An hour later …
📸 🌊 A particularly stunning one this morning ….
.. in fact, it was worth stepping back from today.
.. and then 10 minutes later, the sun peaks through and we can see the rays pouring through as the day opens up.
📸 🌊 A Storm Last Night?
The storm that went through last night made the power flicker and took out the internet … you wouldn’t think so based on how the day started …
And then just a bit later …
Although … 30 minutes after that …
📸 For nearly winter it’s pretty nice…
More tenders on the beach than I have seen for a while.
See what I mean?
And some larger boats parked outside the usual ‘lot’.
