I certainly didn’t dislike .. but somehow it didn’t keep me on the edge of my seat .. some characters entertaining .. some not …. Story? Meh. Still, I did get to the end ..if we have indeed reached the end. Who knows?

Didn’t know what to expect when I stumbled across it … but now with Series 3 behind me, I guess it gets a ‘thumbs up’ from this bear.

I adored the books .. and was waiting for this to come for a long time. I really liked each episode, but it didn’t keep me riveted, which in turn meant it took a long time. Is that bad?
📺 Who Is Erin Carter?
It’s one of ‘those’ Netflix shows. Pot Boiler. Not riveting, but I didn’t give up. It was fine.
📺 Secret Invasion
… and while we are on the topic of ‘🖇️ back stories’ of movie franchises … it’s got Samuel J - so definitely not bad - but also not the greatest.
📺 Obi-Wan Kenobi
Historically not been a big watcher of the Star Wars franchise. Sure I have watched them - but not ‘religiously’ - so expert in the story arc I am not. That said - I really like the back story series that they have been producing. (Even 🖇️ Boba Fett - despite my review at the time and definitely 🖇️ The Mandalorian)
How long should it take my blog to settle down after a big Wordpress import … it all went in … seemingly just fine - but the blog itself is not showing posts that were NOT part of the import - for example searching for ‘silo’ or ‘📺’ does not pull up my review of same - despite it clearly being there in the back end.

📺 Wire In The Blood
We’ve been watching Wire In The Blood off and on for over a year now and last night hit the final episode. Set in roughly the same geography as Vera - though doesn’t show the beauty in the way Vera did - a superb show. All six series are on Acorn - but with each episode 90 minutes or so - coupled with the subject matter - I do not recommend a binge. Definitely worth a watch.
📺 Happy Valley
Finished the third series this past week. One of those ‘little’ shows from blighty that I do enjoy. Not sure if it was me, the soundtrack balance seemed off … OR … those Yorkshire accents have got a little thicker. Either way, if you are a fan of those off beat English murder mysteries … give it a whirl.
📺 Silo
Sooooooo good. Series 2 on the way, which will be a must, because this is only 1 of 2 shows I have seen recently where the finale closes the show and leaves you hanging and ready for the second. Definitely did not predict the ending.

We mainly watched because Jax seems to watch everything and anything that is ‘Wine’. I didn’t not like the idea of watching it … and - subtitles - in three languages? I was prepared - I thought.
But I wasn’t.
Just a wonderful 8 episode series and no - you don’t need to know anything about wine to enjoy it …
It’s Three Hours LONG - so no, I haven’t watched it all - 1 hour in so far, but if you are a Daniel Lanoir aficionado - well - 📺 How can you resist?

📺 The Man In The High Castle
Because I have not been logging movies and shows for very long, there is a backlog that I have no intention of working on, other than when it is relevant. This show came to mind as I wrote this review.
I enjoyed it enough to watch all 4 seasons, but I found each season a little more laborious than the previous. That said .. the first season was stunning. How they pulled 4 seasons out of one book I don’t know … maybe time to revisit he written word?
📺 The Diplomat
It seemed be like ’all the others except it had ’Saul Goodman’s brother in it .. oh and ’John Smith’ from ’The Man In The High Castle’ … So why not give it a whirl? And it was-just fine, really, just fine … until the last 5 minutes of the final episode. Clearly there is a second season on the way, my biggest complaint … did they really need an entire season for the set up?
