A small want list for Sourcefeed (with my comments in bold.)

  1. Some sort of draft system (Nah)
  2. A reference to what markdown markup works on Sourcefeed (YES PLEASE)
  3. A way to share posts to other blogs and social media (✅ Already DONE)
  4. A nice little iOS app? (Nah)

An experiment combined with a real alert.

Serious issues with John.Philpin.com that some great people are helping me with. Site is down and none  of yesterday's posts arrived in the MB stream. Maybe this one will? (That is the experiment part).

Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

Webrings

Nearly time to switch them back on.

Fully aware that;

  • 3 of my 6 sites are very broken.
  • 1 is a little broken
  • 2 are not broken at all.

Coincidentally;

  • 3 of my 6 sites allow me to modify things - a lot.
  • 1 a little bit.
  • 2 not at all.

Off to read up on correlation and causation.

👁️ Thinking that we need a different collective noun. From here on in they will known as Feral Agencies.

Crying. No reason. It’s just what Richard can sometimes do to me.

👁️ Looks like the weather forecast on Monday was right.

It 'says'

title (optional)

.. and whilst true - the relative outcomes of titled v untitled are different - and totally dependant on your reader of choice. I can't get away with thinking that 'Titled Posts' assume a certain level of entitlement whilst 'Untitled' fights for the scraps. And all of this aided and abetted by the 'Readers' we use.

Time for a rebellion?

🔗 Several people write posts on Sourcefeed saying “I have no idea if anyone reads this” - which I consider to be a feature not a bug."

I can happily report though, that every public feed has at least 75 subscribers. So, for now, yes, someone is probably reading that :)

💬 Terry Godier

So this mini blog has at least 75 subscribers? Or Terry’s ‘all feeds’ RSS has 75 subscribers? There is a difference.

'🖇️ Getting There' I asked yesterday.

'Slowly' I answer today.

Getting There?

... with a title.

Getting there.

It is what it is - and this is no exception. Too early to get excited.

So this right here is what might happen
