Ranked: The World’s Top Flight Routes, by Revenue

If anyone feels inspired to pop over to 🔗 this page on LinkedIN that I just made public, it is the very early beginnings of our new initiative ‘The Future Found’. More will be forthcoming.

I think it was ‘eclipsy’ that @dave called out as not a real word.

Might I add ‘winningest’ to the new ‘un-dictionary’

Flip IT in ‘UNITE’ to get ‘UNTIE’

At the same time you flip the meaning of the word.

.. personally, I see this as one of the world’s great successes - how near were we I wonder?

🔗 108 companies, graded from most to least racist.

It’s a start, but I wouldn’t take it as absolute - to me the more interesting info is in the footnote ..

NOTE: The companies listed in black are federal contractors. The companies in gray aren’t.

The sheer number of contractors ‘in black’ could surely be reduced by a little more vigilance in the government to at least reduce that number - maybe others will then follow?

ONE HUNDRED? A timely reminder that I need to bring these ‘dailies’ into alignment. Once ‘the daily’ became too much (because of the approach I was taking), I worked out how to simplify - but still not on top of it.

straight line

At the beginning of the year I had grand plans for this series. A daily long-form post about something that was rattling my brain that day. And then life. For a while, I was even just dropping markers - to revisit. I came to realise that part of the problem was the complexity of the structure for each post - so that went away. Simplicity really is rather nice. As I write on 240413, I am now going back and filling in the gaps. PLUS - unless something strikes me immediately, I will not classify until the end of the day and go back to move one of the posts of the day into the 366. Also - if you are wondering how I have update the words at the bottom of over 100 posts at a stroke, well - THANK YOU Andy Sylvester and his Glossary plugin.

That’s a lot off missing years … assume the hamsters are doing something .. wish they’d hurry up. Will leave it overnight and check in tomorrow a.m.

I have had Raindrop for yonks, but it landed with a thud in my conscious this past week. Yes - the usual AND the possibility of 🖇️ this - or even this!

Not sure - yet - how / if it connects to everything else in my newly emerging connected world of NetNewsWireFeedBinReadWiseRaindropMicroBlog.

Looks like the eclipse has eclipsed any and all other news.

But all was not lost. Spotted as I was leaving …

.. and they say print is dead.

Were it not for ‘print’ and the ‘physical’ world, I would never have known about an AI presentation using a hologram.

Ironic - right?

🖇️ Meanwhile … I stopped off for a well deserved ‘Latte and Eggs Bennie’.

I don’t know who this young lady is

(angle to purposely disguise her identity) , but she talked for the duration. And I do mean talked, barely drawing breath, much less pausing to listen to whoever was on the other end.

And another post ‘posted’ and lost to the ether .. I wonder if they hang out with all the socks I don’t have?

Am I missing something?

This is the headline on the fireflies site

And you read down the page and get to …

Seriously?

The irony of a footer that tells you that you aren’t going to get one of this annoying little pop ups asking you to sign up - and not being aware that it is dutifully delivered over and over again through the RSS feed on each post - sometimes even without a post.

Alert on my LOCK screen - via Spark - a single SPAM message promoting Le Creuset.

Settings investigation in my future.

Particularly since on opening Spark I found lot of messages that I presume somebody/thing ‘thought’ were far less important!

(To be fair .. some of them definitely were!)
