TIL about 🔗 Adenza - Nasdaq just bought them at an 18 times expected 2023 revenue - for a total of $10.5 BILLION .. which gave Thoma Bravo a profit of close to 100% in less than two years. Not only that but Nasdaq doubled its debt load to do the deal. The 18 times revenue is interesting in that it is triple the usual revenue to acquisition ratio.
Nasdaq closed down 10%. As far I can see, the Nasdaq people who did the deal kept their jobs.
I’ll come back with more detailed thoughts at some point … but planting this flag now. I have no idea if Galloway is right or wrong. Nobody does. What I do know is that he, along with many other commentators, is missing the point.

Because apparently,
The UK has deep pools of talent, world-leading academic institutions, and a strong entrepreneurial culture.
And they
look forward to helping foster the growth of the UK web3 ecosystem while the proper regulations come online.
I mean why wait for the proper regulations to come through online .. right? It’s not as if Web3 and Crypto is risky, or populated with hucksters wanting to make a few bucks with their shady tactics.
