I have recently added categories call '5star' that allow me to do the same as your favorites. Always found my manially curated and separate lists fall way from disuse.

@sod search is a lifesaver for me in finding stuff on the stream. Particularly for the past year have had a background mission to reduce the number of categories I have.

For example until yesterday I had a category called 'Republic of Readers' - now GONE but those posts are findable with 🔎 🖇️ this search and of course Mars Edit is very good on search - I just wish there was 'filter' in Mars Edit aswell - a request I made - at least 3 1/2 years ago - because I just found the entry just yesterday!

You might also notice i use emojis a lot ... they are great to resurface things - like 🔎 🖇️ all these posts that I need to go back to and do something with .. or even doing a search for '🔎' to find all the posts and replies that have searched in them ...
