Willie the Pimp w/Cpt. Beefheart is the best track IMO.
@odd hard to choose faves because it depends on my mood at any moment - but funnily enough that one for me does not rate as high as many others on there - that said - STIFF competition.
If you enjoy late 60s Zappa I just removed the vocals (isn't AI wonderful?) from the Circle track on the Wild man Fischer album which leaves Zappa's multitrack noodling.
Oh, wow! Not “nice price” exactly. I only had it as a CD, but I traded all my CD’s for some paintings by a local artist. Now I can only access it from Spotify, which by the way increased the subscription price by a dollar just now.
@Dunk clever - and nice job - interesting to hear something like that 'in the nude'.
@odd a great reshare. I had - a long time ago - but always a great revisit. Often wonder what the people at the time really thought about it.
I think I’ll “watch it” with my ears only. The video was to wild for my aging brain.
Don Preston was not impressed. He held improvisation sessions at his house. The young Zappa occasionally joined them. They had a scratch percussion section - some old bins, a bit of railway track and.... a bicycle. Zappa would soon appear on TV playing... a bicycle. Hmmmm.
