Odessey and Oracle by The Zombies
The Zombies were unto themselves. Colin Blunstone went on to great things - as did Rod Argent. This appeared at the end the Zombies run - but under THEIR creative control. Back in the mid to late 60s there was a sound that began to emerge combining Psychedelia, English Folk and Rock which in turn morphed into something I call ‘English Progressive’. This is not obviously a Prog record - but it has most of the characteristics of that genre.
