Meh. I mean I didn’t stop watching it or anything - but I really did expect more from Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

I was scrolling through Reelgood spotted this and wanted to say great show. Then again I have always been a sucker for Christian Slater and of course this show introduced the world to Rami Malek. How could you go wrong?

The Series that is. The film at the end - to bring ‘closure’? Yeah - not so much
📺 The Book of Boba Fett
Good - but there have been some stronger shows from that franchise. Must get round to logging them.

A great show from the very first series to the end. (If that was the end?)
📺 Goliath
Finally got to watch the last series. ✅ Still good - but possibly losing the edge that the earlier shows had.
📺 Foundation
First series of ‘Foundation’ on Apple. (I say ‘first’ - because I believe ‘two’ is already in production).
Great spectacle. Not sure it told the story as well as I remember the books, though to be fair I read them a long time ago.
📺 Jack Ryan
Finished the third series of Jack Ryan on Prime last night. Best of the three .. and the first two weren’t that shabby as the genre goes.

I recently watched the TV series of Fargo seasons and came to realise that the ‘True Story’ theme of Fargo … where none of it is true … is itself a theme throughout.
It explores what different characters believe is their truth … and who are we to judge?

The actor who played Varga in Series 3 ( David Thewlis )has just popped up in a new series - Landscapers with another favourite of mine - Olivia Colman.
Landscapers is a true story - not like Fargo truth - real truth! Proving that truth is indeed stranger than fiction.

Oz rules football rather than ‘just football’ … but the underlying sentiments are equally powerful.
