With the late-May release of 1Password for Safari, we will be increasing the minimum Safari version required to support 1Password for Safari to Safari 18.6.

… which got me to wondering. Turns out I am on 26.4 - which despite the numbering is not that much newer. 18.6 was replaced by 18.7 in September 2025 - not even a year ago.
Thats a pretty aggressive upgrade stance. The predecessor to 18.6 - 18.5 was only May last year.
Then again if you are someone who uses a password manager, I guess your propensity to keep your software up to date is going to be high.
