🔗 Is it Coming Home? England, the World Cup, and the Long Shadow of 1966

I don’t really pay much attention .. mainly because Football. Except - on the ’66 World Cup itself I do have a back story, which one day I will tell because for different reasons that year is firmly printed in my mind. But I had never really understood the back story to how much that team had running that made 66 so important.

Of course - after that it all went downhill.
