🔗📺 This popped up in my feeds - one short series with Giancarlo Esposito - 6 episodes in total. Well of course - no brainer. I thought.

My enjoyment ran the gamut. Started great. Ended great. In the middle - an awful lot of filler. Don’t know why it seemed that way- just that it was slooooow .. and there seemed to be a lot of irrelevancy

So I looked into it - turns out Parish is an American remake of a UK original called 🔗 The Driver - 3 short 1 hour episodes.

Giancarlo seems to have got himself involved in an American remake - with the original creators as Exec Producers. Originally they had high hopes for a second series. Not now it seems.
